ASTA bingo night

The American String Teacher Association will host a bingo night at 7 p.m. Monday, March 2, in 116 RSL. Admission is $2 with special pricing per bingo card. There will be snacks and goodies for purchase, as well as a free will donation.

ThreeHouse Campus Ministries weekly events

Weekly events at ThreeHouse include movie/tv binge from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday; free meal at Eat, Gather, Worship from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday; Craft and Chat from 5 to 6 p.m. and free coffeehouse from 7 to 10 pm. Panther Camp for Cedar Falls Schools teacher professional development day

Recreation Services Panther Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28, WRC; drop-off is 8 to 8:30 a.m. and pick-up time is 3:30 to 4 p.m. Youth ages 6-12 will participate in swimming, rock climbing, activities and a craft. The cost is $40 and limited to 40 participants. Students should be lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, as well as a swimsuit and towel. For more information, email Cindy Klatt or call 319-273-5528. "City of God" screening

In recognition of the upcoming Carnival celebration, the Film Appreciation Club will screen "City of God" at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, in 111 KAB. The film tells the story of two boys growing up in the slums of Rio, trying to survive and thrive in poor conditions.

Philosophy Club book sale fundraiser

The Philosophy Club will have a book sale from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 19-20, in 81 BAR. Books for sale include history, philosophy, religion, fiction, textbooks and more. Cash only.

Women’s basketball action

The women’s basketball team takes on Illinois State at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20. This game is a white out. Bradley is the opponent for the game at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22. This game is part of the 5 Sport Passport and is UNIBusiness student organization day. Both games will have free pizza for students.
