The Office of the Dean of Students recognizes students for several awards during the annual Student Leadership Awards ceremony. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Feb. 14. Nominations can be made by students, staff or faculty. Self-nominations will be accepted. The Student Leadership Awards event will be Tuesday, April 14.

This student panel will held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, in the multipurpose room, CME. The panel features Black and African-American students and provides an opportunity to hear student voices directly, as well as to reflect on issues of equity, diversity and inclusion at UNI. The deadline to sign up for the Spring Read, featuring "Generation Z Unfiltered: Facing Nine Hidden Challenges of the Most Anxious Population," is Friday, Feb. 14. Participants are responsible for obtaining their own copy of the book.

Your dorm room is your chance to make campus feel more like home. Show off your little corner of home on campus by submitting your photos to this year’s Campus Living Contest. Submit the best photos of your dorm room for the chance to win the Ultimate Panther Prize Package. The contest will close at 11:59 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14.
Registration is open for Camp Musicmania: Musical Mysteries, a one-week fine arts camp for children entering 1st through 9th grades fall 2020. The camp will be held June 15-19. All campers will be involved in music and movement activities, singing, dancing, drama and art.
Exhibitors are needed for the STEM Festival from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, in the DOM. There is no fee to exhibit; however, all exhibitors need to register by Thursday, March 13. For more information or to register, visit the festival website.

Auditions for the annual broadway cabaret have been extended. Everyone is welcome to perform a song from a Broadway show, movie musical or tv musical in a solo, duet or group format.
