Mary Braun and Andrew Morse, Office of Governmental Relations, will give an update on state and federal legislative developments that impact UNI from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, in 109P CME.
Ethnic Student Promoters will be selling Valentine carnations from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, in MAU. The cost is $2 for one carnation, with the proceeds benefiting ESP. Questions can be emailed to email@example.com.
A panel of black and educated professionals will discuss their journeys through the educational system and how it has shaped their lives and careers from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, in Old Central Ballroom, MAU.
BSU's Glow Skate Party will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in the WRC. The skate party is open to all. Limited skates will be provided; attendees are encouraged to bring their own skates. The entry fee is two canned goods. Security will be enforced at this event.
All students are invited to participate in UNI's Love a Donor event Feb. 11-13. Write a thank you card to a UNI donor and receive a sweet treat or giveaway item. Feb 11: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., CBA, RSL, SBS; Feb 12: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., MAU, LIB; Feb 13: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., SEC, MSH.
Make the Change, a student organization to encourage others through the writing of letters, will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, in the State College Room, MAU. For more information, visit the Make the Change website.
