The UNIBusiness-John Deere Supply Chain Forum will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, in the Slife Ballroom, COM. The forum is free, but registration is required; the deadline is Saturday, Feb. 15. The forum is an industry-academic partnership designed to give attendees an opportunity to join together to share industry best practices and network. For more information, email Chris Schrage.
The documentary “Warrior Women,” one of the first films to cover the activism of a Native woman, will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, in the auditorium, LNG. The film follows Madonna Thunder Hawk, Native American activist, and the legal team representing Indians arrested at Wounded Knee. A Q&A with Thunder Hawk and Elizabeth Newcastle, director, will follow the screening.
Faculty and staff are invited to write a short thank you card to UNI donors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12. Light lunch will be available while supplies last. Extended hours are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rod Library.
