The wrestling team takes on West Virginia in the final home meet at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, in the West Gym. This meet is a white-out.
This workshop will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, in 218 LIB. Helen Harton, psychology, will be the facilitator. Panelists will help participants become acquainted with key ethical issues involved in research and scholarship. Celebrate Valentine's Day with the Film Appreciation Club. We will watch Paul Thomas Anderson's 2017 romantic comedy-drama "Phantom Thread" at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14 in 111 KAB.
UNI Outdoors will host a free Valentines edition of cross-country skiing at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13. All gear will be provided and the trail will be candle lit. Arrive by 4:50 p.m. in 174 WRC; dress for the weather.
The Tallgrass Prairie Center will host author Thomas Dean for a reading and discussion of his book of short essays and photographs at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the center. The Tallgrass Conversations series aims to inspire new understandings of the Midwestern tallgrass prairie through word and image.
The Office of the Dean of Students recognizes students for several awards during the annual Student Leadership Awards ceremony. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Feb. 14. Nominations can be made by students, staff or faculty. Self-nominations will be accepted. The Student Leadership Awards event will be Tuesday, April 14.
