Dates announced for free Gallagher Bluedorn Block Party series

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center has announced the 2026 schedule for its free summer Block Party series, with the University of Northern Iowa Sesquicentennial Celebration as the platinum sponsor of the series.
The series will run from June through early September, bringing live music performances to parks and neighborhoods across the Cedar Falls and Waterloo area.
The full summer lineup includes:
- Friday, June 5, 7–9 p.m. - Cedar Terrace Park, Waterloo
- Friday, June 19 - Sullivan Park, Waterloo (Juneteenth Celebration)
- Friday, June 26, 6–8 p.m. - Dike City Park, Dike
- Friday, July 10, 7–9 p.m. - Orchard Hill Park, Cedar Falls
- Friday, July 31, 7–9 p.m. - Robinson-Dresser Sports Complex, Cedar Falls
- Friday, August 7, 7–9 p.m. - Miller Park, Waterloo
- Friday, August 14, 7–9 p.m. - Highland Square Park, Waterloo
- Saturday, September 5, 7–9 p.m. - Black Hawk Park, Cedar Falls
All Block Party events are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of music, food and activities.
