'The Lettermen' to perform at Gallagher Bluedorn

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- "The Lettermen," an American male pop music vocal trio, will perform at the UNI Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 3.

The group was formed in 1959 and has had 11 gold records, five Grammy nominations, two Top 10 singles, and 16 Top 10 singles on the Adult Contemporary chart. Their first single was "The Way You Look Tonight" in 1961, and their second single was "When I Fall in Love." Their youthful harmonies and distinct attire immortalized them in the lives of many Americans during the 60s.

Ticket prices for "The Lettermen" begin at $26 and can be purchased at any UNItix location, at www.gbpac.com or by calling 319-273-4849. UNI students must bring their school ID to the Gallagher Bluedorn box office to receive their free ticket.
