UNI Center for Multicultural Education to host open house to welcome new director

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa Center for Multicultural Education (CME) will host an open house to reveal the renovated building and welcome the new director of the CME, Jamie Butler Chidozie, from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, March 23, at the CME on the UNI campus.

Chidozie received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and teaching and master’s degree in higher education student affairs from Indiana University Bloomington. She served as the assistant director of the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education at Elon University before coming to UNI in February.
