UNI Nonprofit Leadership Alliance seeks proposals for 2018-19 consulting projects

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—Every year, nationally renowned Nonprofit Leadership Alliance (NLA) students seek proposals for consulting projects. Five projects were accepted last year and were presented at the Alliance Management Institute (AMI) conference in Kansas City, Missouri, last month. The projects received two first-place awards and one second-place award, including the “What’s the Big Idea” award. Cedar Valley nonprofit agencies are encouraged to submit proposals that will benefit students in acquiring research skills as well as informing best practices to the partnering agencies through potential findings.

Proposals are currently being accepted for one-year consulting projects that will be undertaken from spring 2018 to spring of 2019. The consulting committee will evaluate the proposals and select up to five proposals, and accepted proposals will be announced promptly. Selected projects could potentially result in publication and/or presentation at the AMI conference that will be held in January 2019 in Orlando, Florida.

For a Request for Proposal (RFP) application, please visit uni-nonprofit.org/community/. Proposals are due by 5 p.m., Friday, March 16.
