CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa will host its annual fall Commencement ceremony at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, in the McLeod Center. This year’s Commencement speaker delivering the student address is Megan Kennedy, a senior psychology and family services major.
Approximately 560 graduates will participate in Commencement. The names of candidates will be read by Gretta Berghammer, professor of theatre.
Following the ceremony, there will be a reception on the concourse level inside the McLeod Center with light refreshments provided. Graduates and guests are encouraged to attend. There will also be areas set up for families and graduates to take pictures. For family and friends who are unable to attend, the ceremony will be streamed live starting at 11 a.m. at live.uni.edu.
