UNI to host events celebrating National Financial Literacy Month

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Adam Carroll, author of “Winning the Money Game” and several other books geared towards helping college students better understand their finances, will present “The Money Savvy Student” at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, in Lang Auditorium on the University of Northern Iowa’s campus. The first 300 attendees will receive a free copy of “Winning the Money Game.”

Carroll is considered one of the top transformational trainers in the country on the topic of financial literacy, and has presented at more than 500 colleges and universities nationwide, in addition to hundreds of leadership symposiums and countless local and regional organizations. Carroll is also a UNI alum.

The UNI Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships invited Carroll to UNI as part of National Financial Literacy Month. The event is one of several presentations and activities taking place on campus in the month of April, all of them intended to educate students on how to manage their finances now and in the future.
