CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa will host a public information panel on the Zika virus from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, April 7, in the Elm Room in Maucker Union.
The discussion will focus on cultural, health, virology and prevention issues. Panel members include:
- Michele Devlin, professor of health promotion and education, and director of the Iowa Center on Health Disparities
- Catherine Zeman, professor of health promotion and education, and director of UNI's Recycling and Reuse Technology Transfer Center
- Alba Aguillon, a UNI pre-MBA graduate student
The panel is sponsored by the UNI Division of Health Promotion and Education, the Global Health Corps (a project of UNI), and the Recycling and Reuse Technology Transfer Center.
