Why Meditation Works: The Ancient Traditions and Modern Science of Mindfulness
On Tuesday, October 22 from 10-11 a.m. and on Tuesday, October 16 from 10-11 a.m. in the ScholarSpace, learn about current meditation and mindfulness practices. This workshop will consist of two one-hour sessions: the first will describe how the Buddha's unique life led him to key insights into the nature of human unhappiness and suffering, and the second will discuss Robert Wright's 2017 bestseller "Why Buddhism is True," which examines the Buddha's teachings through the lenses of neuroscience and evolutionary psychology.
