“UNI Department of Art Faculty + 1” open Jan. 17 – Feb. 23, 2024

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa Gallery of Art and Permanent Collection announces its spring opening art exhibition, “UNI Department of Art Faculty + 1.” Join us for an opening reception on the evening of Tuesday, January 23 at 6:30 p.m.

This exhibition presents the works of the current UNI faculty that not only teach students but also work as professional artists. Additionally, each UNI faculty artist has invited a UNI Department of Art alum to showcase their work alongside them.

Among the works on display are various representations of prints, paintings, photographs, designs, animations and sculptures.

All events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and by appointment. The gallery is located on the main floor of the Kamerick Art Building South on the UNI campus.
