Wilson College of Business Announcement of Spring 2025 Ethics Events

Cedar Falls, Iowa - The Wilson College of Business is excited to announce a series of engaging ethics events happening during the spring 2025 semester. These events include a discussion with ethics fellows, a business community ethics speaker panel and an ethics case competition. 

  • Business Ethics Discussion
    Ethics Fellows Robert Earle and Nick Sars will host a discussion on Business Ethics on Thursday, February 13th from 6:00-7:30pm in room 109 of the Curris Business Building. 
  • Community Ethics Panel
    The Business Community Ethics Speaker Panel is being hosted on Tuesday, March 4th from 6:00-7:45pm also in room 109 in the Curris Business Building.
  • Ethics Case Competition
    With $5000 in prize money up for grabs, the one-night-only Ethics Case Competition will take place on Monday, April 14th from 5:00-9:00pm. Teams of 5 undergraduate students are eligible to compete. 

The university also offers a minor in ethics, which can complement many of our business courses and fit seamlessly into your degree.

For those interested in the Digital Ethics Badge, the required components are the following requirements:

  1. Electronically sign the Student Code of Ethics
  2. Participate in the Ethics Case Competition
  3. Attend at least two of the following events: Ethics Movie Night, Meet the Ethics Fellows, and Business Community Ethics Speaker Panel.
