The Wilson College of Business hosted its annual Leadership Celebration at the Commons Slife Ballroom, marking the end of the academic year by honoring the exceptional achievements of its distinguished students. This yearly event, emceed by Wilson Presidents' Council Co-Presidents Grace Croat and Nathanial Madden, brought together over 200 alumni, faculty, staff and students to recognize those who have significantly contributed to the college professionally, socially, and academically.

The evening's highlights included the presentation of the prestigious Purple & Old Gold Awards across various departments. Each award recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and academic excellence:

  • Accounting Purple & Old Gold award to Morgan Nuss
  • Economics Purple & Old Gold award to Grace Croat
  • Finance Purple & Old Gold award to Mason Fritz
  • Real Estate Purple & Old Gold award to Sophie Schmit
  • Management Purple & Old Gold Award to Cael Loecher
  • MIS Purple & Old Gold Award to Jaxon Heth
  • Supply Chain Management Purple & Old Gold Award to Terrill Hagener
  • Marketing Purple & Old Gold Award to Amy Rathmacher
  • Business Teaching Purple & Old Gold Award to Sarena Gerber

The John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center honored outstanding students with the Student Entrepreneur of the Year and MAC Impact Student Business of the Year awards.

  • Student Entrepreneur of the Year award to Fatima Rodriguez
  • MAC Impact Student Business of the Year award to Reyna Jorgenson

Several students were also recognized with Leadership Awards presented by Leslie K. Wilson:

  • Servant Leadership Award to Delaney Nagel
  • Rising Leader award to Mahedi Islam
  • Leadership Impact Award to Terrill Hagener
  • Fierce Innovation Award to Yanting Wang
  • Student Organization of the Year Award to Women in Business

The event concluded with closing remarks that emphasized the importance of continued growth, leadership, and innovation. The Wilson College of Business is honored to celebrate its talented students and looks forward to another year of excellence and achievement.
