Coach Jacobson takes over as MVC all-time wins leader

UNI men’s basketball head coach Ben Jacobson is now Missouri Valley Conference’s all-time wins leader. The career milestone comes after the Panthers’ victory over Southern Illinois on Jan. 20 in the McLeod Center, Jacobson’s 188th win against MVC opponents. 

 

 

Jacobson is in his 18th season with the Panthers and has guided the Panthers to four NCAA Tournament appearances and four NCAA victories. He is also a five-time MVC Coach of the Year.
