David Harris named chair of NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Oversight Committee
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana --- UNI Director of Athletics David Harris has been named the chair of the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Oversight Committee, as announced by the NCAA this week.
Harris, who has led the UNI Athletic Department since 2016 and served as Vice Chair of the committee for the last year, succeeds Grand Canyon University Athletic Director Jamie Boggs. His term as committee chair will officially begin on Aug. 1, 2023 and run through June 2024.
