NFL Super Bowl MVP and former Northern Iowa Panthers’ quarterback Kurt Warner delivered the keynote speech this week at the Boy Scouts of America Mid-Iowa Council’s Governor’s Luncheon in Des Moines.

The event was a homecoming of sorts – it was held in what used to be known as Veterans Memorial Auditorium, where Warner played for the Iowa Barnstormers before making his way to the NFL. 

The Governor’s Luncheon is a fundraising event, with all proceeds supporting Scouting programs in the 27 counties served by Mid-Iowa Council. Watch WHO13’s coverage of the event below:
