The NFL is down to its final Super Bowl contenders, and one University of Northern Iowa alum will have a seat close to the action.

Seated among the family of 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, you’ll find his fiancée - former UNI Panther Jenna Brandt.

Brandt, originally from Sumner, Iowa, played volleyball at UNI in the 2021 season. She graduated in 2022 with a degree in movement and exercise science.

Before suiting up for the Panthers, Brandt spent three years at Iowa State, where Purdy was quarterback for the Cyclones.

"Jenna is having a blast! I have had an exciting reason to have been watching the playoffs," said UNI volleyball coach Bobbi Petersen. "I'm so happy for her as she is an AMAZING young woman!"
