UNI launches second year of TC’s Tee campaign to support student scholarships
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa is excited to introduce the latest edition of TC's Tee, offering a fresh way to showcase Panther Pride. This year's shirt marks the second release in a tradition that began last year, combining style with a commitment to student support. Proceeds from the inaugural design raised over $8,000 for the university's general scholarship fund, directly benefiting students.
“We are excited to carry on such a successful tradition that has meant so much to UNI students, alumni, faculty, staff and parents,” said Pete Moris, director of University Relations at UNI. “TC’s Tee is the perfect t-shirt for Panther Friday or any day to showcase the Panther spirit and unite the Purple Circle.”
True to the TC’s Tee mission statement, this shirt brings out Panthers’ sassy side. With this year’s theme, “Cats Eat Birds,” TC is letting everyone know that Panthers are on the prowl and at the top of the food chain.
The general public will have their first chance to purchase the 2024 TC’s Tee at UNI’s booth at the Iowa State Fair in the Varied Industries Building. Following the fair, the shirts will be available at the UNI Bookstore and RAYGUN stores across Iowa, with additional locations pending. Each TC’s Tee theme is a limited design and only available for the academic year. That means you’ll find Cats Eat Birds on store shelves through May 2025.
