Chambers isn’t the only Panther competing in this year’s Paralympic Games. UNI track and field alum Jessica Heims competed in the women's F64 discus throw on Sunday, placing sixth in the 11-woman field.
Erin Kerkhoff, another former Panther track and field athlete, raced in the women’s T13 100-meter final Tuesday, ultimately placing seventh.
