The one thing Ethan Ahrens loves the most about UNI is the hands-on experience it provides. Digital media students are constantly being offered opportunities to get out into the field and do work that is amazing practice and looks great on a resume. Ahrens got to go with a UNI science team to Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota where he was able to capture great images of the caves and student research. The footage will be made into four short documentaries, giving him good filming practice and allowing him to sharpen his post-production skills.
