University of Northern Iowa Assistant Professor of Religion, Michael Graziano, will explore how American religion has shaped the work of intelligence agencies like the CIA at 4 p.m. on April 12 in Sabin Hall 2.
Hosted by the UNI Department of Philosophy and World Religions, in partnership with the Study of Religion Club, Graziano’s talk, entitled “Studying Religion with the CIA” coincides with the release of his new book, “Errand into the Wilderness of Mirrors: Religion and the History of the CIA.”
“His work breaks new ground in our understanding of the role of religion in U.S. international politics,” said Susan Hill, Head of the Department of Philosophy and World Religions.
