UNI Community Music School to host summer camp
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa Community Music School (CMS) will present Camp Musicmania from June 13-17, 2022, at the UNI School of Music in Russell Hall on the UNI campus. Camp Musicmania is a multifaceted fine arts camp, the primary purpose of which is to engage campers in the excitement of exploring music, drama and art.
Campers will be divided into two age divisions: first through fourth graders in the younger division, and fifth through ninth graders in the older division.
Classes for both divisions will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Cost is $145 per student.
Early enrollment is strongly encouraged. Registration deadline is May 30 or when class limit is reached. Enroll today!
The UNI Community Music School offers lessons and a variety of music programs for hundreds of Cedar Valley children and adults. Private lessons are available on a variety of woodwind, brass, keyboard, voice and percussion instruments, as well as group piano lessons, the UNI Children’s Choir, the UNI New Horizons Band and Camp Musicmania.
The CMS staff includes professional music educators, performers and UNI School of Music students. Classes and lessons are offered year-round for students of all ages and abilities. All CMS events are held on the UNI campus in the UNI School of Music facilities, virtually or at other appropriate area community sites.
