“Baddest Cats” gives more than $8,300 back to UNI students
As the academic year comes to a close, the University of Northern Iowa can proudly announce students, alumni, faculty, staff and Panther families far and wide have added $8,331.10 to the general scholarship fund thanks to purchasing the inaugural design of TC’s Tee, “Baddest Cats in the Valley.”
President Mark Nook announced the total in Maucker Union on Tuesday as part of a kickoff event for TC Day, also known as The Celebration.
Whether purchased from the Iowa State Fair, UNI Bookstore or “Baddest Cats” partner RAYGUN, a portion of proceeds from t-shirt sales will provide current and future Panthers with additional resources to pursue their dreams.
The tradition of TC’s Tee will carry on, with a new featured design each year. The design of the next limited TC’s Tee will be unveiled during the summer.
It’s not too late to show your style with the “Baddest Cats in the Valley.” The inaugural design is still available at the UNI Bookstore and RAYGUN through May 31, 2024.
