Wilson College of Business ranks on The Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools for 2024
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The Princeton Review has selected the David W. Wilson College of Business’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program as one of the Best Business Schools for 2024. UNI has consistently ranked on this list for more than a decade.
Some key factors that led to the Wilson College of Business’ ranking include:
- Competitive tuition rates
- Accommodating class schedules
- Small classes
- Emphasis on teamwork in coursework
- Knowledgeable and experienced faculty
- Responsiveness to students
"Each year that the Wilson College of Business earns a spot on the Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools further solidifies our global reputation,” said Leslie Wilson, dean of the Wilson College of Business. “It is a testament to the high standards we have at the University of Northern Iowa. Our faculty, staff and students continue to demonstrate the dedication and innovation that make the Wilson College of Business a leader in developing the business leaders of tomorrow."
The Princeton Review editors weigh more than 60 data points, including costs, professor accessibility and career outcomes, when selecting their annual Best Business Schools. The selections for the 2024 list took into account data from surveys the company conducted in 2024 of administrators at 244 schools offering on-campus MBA programs as well as surveys over the past three academic years of 21,500 students enrolled in the programs.
The Wilson College of Business is known for its many accolades, even outside of this ranking. The MBA program holds accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, the gold standard of business school accreditation and a distinction earned by fewer than 5% of business schools worldwide.
The UNI MBA program was created to serve both full-time and part-time students through modular scheduling. This design divides the MBA program into modules of eight weeks each, with five modules offered each year. The modular scheduling allows qualified, full-time students to complete the MBA program in a single year at a substantial tuition savings. Part-time students take advantage of the modular scheduling to complete the program over two years (or more, depending upon available time).
Designed to provide working professionals with maximum flexibility, the MBA curriculum is organized into 10 courses spread across three certificate programs. This structure allows students to earn individual certificates to gain specific business knowledge or to complete all three certificates at their own pace to earn a full MBA.
