In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

TEDxUniversity of Northern Iowa will be one of many events celebrating the university’s 150-year legacy of innovation, learning and community engagement. The UNI Sesquicentennial Celebration will kick off this fall and continue through Homecoming 2026. More details about events, special exhibits and other programming will be announced throughout the celebration.  Keep an eye on all things related to this milestone at 150.uni.edu.
