UNI offers Free Application Week for engineering and construction management majors

Students interested in engineering or construction management at the University of Northern Iowa can apply for free Dec. 7-12, 2025. This means you can take the next step toward an in-demand career without the initial cost.
Engineering and construction management students at UNI get hands-on experience in the newly renovated Applied Engineering Building as early as their first semester. The AEB contains cutting-edge equipment students can use, allowing them to sharpen real-world skills they will need to succeed in the workforce.
The applied engineering and construction management departments are close-knit, allowing students to form meaningful connections with faculty members who genuinely want what’s best for them. Whether you start as a first-year or transfer student, you can expect to feel connected to your classmates through a variety of student clubs that focus on industry tours and provide travel opportunities to national conferences.
UNI is committed to keeping the cost of a four-year degree as low as possible, as evidenced by the one-third of all students who graduate without debt. New undergraduate students from Iowa’s six neighboring states also pay in-state tuition at UNI. Since engineering and construction management are booming with high-paying salaries, earning one of these degrees from UNI carries a strong return on investment.
To take advantage of this special Free Application Week for engineering and construction management students, go to apply.uni.edu and use the code ENG26. This offer is only for domestic undergraduate students.
