Jolene Hays and Samantha Henriksen, MVP advisers at Fort Dodge Senior High School, and Jocelyn Frohwein, MVP coordinator at Marshalltown Community College, are the 2025-26 recipients of the Dan Marburger Mentors in Violence Prevention Advocacy Awards.
The University of Northern Iowa has selected Alysa Mozak to serve as the new director of the Patricia A. Tomson Center for Violence Prevention (PATCVP), effective Aug. 2022.
In conjunction with its 10-year anniversary, the University of Northern Iowa Center for Violence Prevention will be renamed the Patricia A. Tomson Center for Violence Prevention in honor of her decades of work on behalf of survivors of abuse.
