Open Access Week is October 21-27, 2024, with the international theme "Community over Commercialization." UNI will celebrate on October 22, 1:00-5:00pm in Rod Library 301 (ScholarSpace) and via Zoom, with an afternoon of speakers and discussion focused on free information and a reception. A keynote from Abbey Elder, Open Access & Scholarly Communication Librarian from Iowa State University, will take place at 1:00 pm and focus on the basics of Open Access. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome and encouraged to come and go as they are able.
