Newest TC’s Tee from UNI boasts of the “Cat Pack”

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Back for the third year in a row, the University of Northern Iowa’s newest iteration of TC’s Tee is headed to store shelves. Its theme is Cat Pack, emphasizing the camaraderie of those who share the Panther spirit, while also reminding others of the “Rat Pack” and “Brat Pack” of generations past.
The purple t-shirt features a vintage UNI logo from the 1970s, which is perfectly timed with the UNI Sesquicentennial Celebration, as the university honors its rich 150-year history.
“The annual release of the latest TC’s Tee is quickly becoming a date UNI fans and alums are marking on their calendars,” said Pete Moris, director of University Relations. “As we ramp up for the UNI Sesquicentennial Celebration, it seemed appropriate that version three of TC’s Tee had a throwback feel. Whether you grew up admiring the Rat Pack or the Brat Pack, our Cat Pack shirt will no doubt be the must-have addition to wardrobes across Panther County.”
Proceeds from every TC’s Tee go directly to the UNI General Scholarship Fund to help current and future Panthers pay for their educations. To date, Panthers have raised more than $14,000 by purchasing these t-shirts.
You can be among the first members of the Cat Pack by purchasing your t-shirt at UNI’s booth in the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State Fair, held Aug. 7-17. Then, beginning Aug. 18, the TC’s Tee will be available at several retail locations, including the UNI Bookstore, Scheels in Cedar Falls and Bozz Prints in West Des Moines and online at bozzprints.com.
Every TC’s Tee is a limited run, and this year’s design will be retired in summer 2026. You can see retired TC’s Tees in the vault and learn more about the program by visiting tcstee.uni.edu
