Pump family donates $100,000 to UNI-Dome modernization

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Larry and Sue Pump, both proud UNI alumni, have added their support behind the historic renovation of the UNI-Dome. The couple's $100,000 contribution reflects their commitment to creating a legacy that will benefit future students, student-athletes and the community.
For the Rockford, Iowa couple, both 1979 graduates with degrees in accounting, the gift holds special meaning. The UNI-Dome played a significant role in the Pumps' decision to attend UNI, beginning with their experience at the first-ever event held in the stadium: a wrestling match between UNI and the University of Iowa.
"These facilities were in place for us and our generation benefited. It is our turn to ensure these facilities are in place for future generations," said Larry and Sue.
