UNI to celebrate nearly 700 fall graduates

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Nearly 700 University of Northern Iowa students are preparing to complete their degree requirements, many of whom will walk during Fall 2025 Commencement in the McLeod Center on Saturday morning.
Graduates represent 90 Iowa counties, 14 states and nine countries. Nearly one-third of students identified themselves as first-generation college graduates, and 25 are veterans.
These students carry an average undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.38. Nearly one in five are graduating with multiple majors.
The UNI Fall Commencement will take place for all graduates at 10 a.m. and will also be livestreamed on the UNI YouTube channel.
