Teacher education students at both the elementary and secondary levels and faculty across Iowa will explore the world of STEM education at the 2022 Pre-Service Teachers STEM Conference planned for April 8 and 9. Coordinated by the University of Northern Iowa College of Education, the two-day conference is entitled “Be Inspired: STEM in Your Future Classroom.” The effort is a shared initiative of UNI and educator preparation programs at the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, Waldorf University, Clarke University, Dordt University and Luther College. It will include a balance of sessions with on-site offerings as well as virtual sessions for students gathering at the seven sites or online.
