Merchant Scholarships are an annual scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors and UNI alumni pursuing graduate studies. Scholarships typically range between $2000-$4000 and will be awarded for graduate study for the fall of 2024. Recipients must be attending, or planning to attend, an accredited graduate or professional school as a full-time student. Applicants can be in any year of graduate study. The deadline for applications is Friday, March 15, 2024.
Completed IAF applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7 (this deadline is for research applications or any trips occurring between April 1-April 30). The Intercollegiate Academics Fund (IAF) is a yearly allocation of Student Activity Fee monies that exists to promote and support intercollegiate academic experiences for University of Northern Iowa students. Specifically, the IAF supports students in two ways: 1) through a travel fund for students who participate in intercollegiate academic competitions and presentations at professional conferences; and 2) through a research and creative activity fund which supports student research and creative activities.
