Retirement Readiness: Understanding Retirement Health Care Options

Human Resource Services will host an informational session on health care options in retirement. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. This session will be presented by Wellmark, Friday, February 28, at noon in Gilchrist 009. Please register in advance.

Stormwater Hotline

In accordance with University of Northern Iowa’s MS4 permit the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) requires the University to maintain a 24-hour telephone number for the reporting of storm water related problems. Any and all Students, Faculty and Staff are encouraged to report any issues related to improper dumping of materials into or surrounding campus storm drains or inlets. The UNI storm water hotline is: (319) 273-4400.

Work with a coach to prepare a quit plan.

AI & Us: What’s Real & What Matters?

Undergraduate Studies, Rod Library and the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning have teamed up to facilitate the "AI & Us: What's Real & What Matters?" campus-wide conversation. Students, faculty and staff are all encouraged to attend and share experiences. This event is on Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21. It is open to everyone including entire classes, offices and departments. Please register in advance.

Funding available for UNI 150 public programming and research projects

We are pleased to announce the availability of funding for public programming and research projects that align with the goals of UNI’s upcoming sesquicentennial celebration. Please see the application form for full details about this opportunity. While applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis, the initial deadline for applications is Friday, February 21.

Human Resource Services will host an informational session on retiring from UNI, for faculty and staff planning to retire soon or in the foreseeable future. Participants will learn guidelines and benefits available at retirement from UNI. This hour-long session will take place on Wednesday, January 29 at 11 a.m. in Gilchrist 009. Please register in advance.
