Reminder: Retirement Readiness: Retire from UNI

Celebrate Safely this Summer

Consumer fireworks are permitted within the city limits on July 3, 4, and 5 of each year between the hours of noon and 11:00 p.m. on July 4 and the hours of noon and 10:00 p.m. on July 3 and 5. To help with enforcement, the City will be conducting a Zero-Tolerance policy on violators. Learn more about the fireworks ordinance and get safety tips on the Cedar Falls Fire Rescue webpage.

Own Your Benefits: Turning Age 45?

The American Cancer Society’s recommendation is for those who are turning age 45 to start screening for colon cancer. Our self-insured health plans cover a colonoscopy as a preventive service. Contact your provider to receive guidance on when, and how often you should test based on your family’s health history.
