What began last summer as a way to offer free entertainment to the Cedar Valley during the pandemic has now grown into an opportunity for neighborhoods to gather, build community and experience great music together.
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Gallagher Bluedorn at University of Northern Iowa has received a $1 million gift from the Friends of the Gallagher Bluedorn to put toward the theater’s $14.9 million expansion project.
What happens when you bring together the musical artistry of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony, the theatrical creativity of Cedar Falls Community Theatre and Waterloo Community Playhouse, and the ingenuity and inspiration of the Gallagher Bluedorn? CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa School of Music will hold its second annual New Music Festival March 10 to 12. The free public festival will feature guest composer and performer Molly Joyce, and accordionist Branko Džinović as well as UNI faculty and student performers.
