KULT 94.5, UNI's student-managed radio station, is accepting applications for the following positions for 2021 (calendar year term): General Manager, Marketing Director, Web Director, Music Director and News/Sports Director. Pandemics in the History of Northern Iowans is Rod Library's newest collaborative display. The display will feature influenza on campus documentation from 1918 and 21st-century artists' reflections of COVID-19. It will be located in the Learning Commons at Rod Library through Friday, November 20.

Those brisk fall days appear to be upon us. It's time to brush up on home and office heating safety. As many still work from home, be sure to test your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Don't forget to change those batteries. Remember, UNI does not allow space heaters on campus. To request an exception or for additional information, submit a request to the Office of Risk Management and Environmental Health and Safety. Feeling overwhelmed by 2020? Let out your frustrations on Friday, October 23 at noon outside of Maucker Union by taking a few hits at a car. This exciting event is organized by students in Dr. Matthew Bunker's Marketing Strategy course. Everyone is welcome, and proper safety measures will be in place to ensure a fun and safe event. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted. The prices are $2 for 1 Hit, $3 for 5 Hits and $5 for 10 Hits. Masks and closed toe shoes are required. Gloves and safety goggles will be provided with proper cleaning and sanitation.
