UNI Housing & Dining is looking for campus and community partners to be a part of this year's Move-In Crew.
Move-In Crew consists of volunteers who assist with moving our new, incoming students into their dorm rooms. Move-In Day is Wednesday, August 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Volunteer shifts are available in two-hour time frames, on both the North and South sides of campus. Mark your calendars for the Fall 2024 University Address, which will be held Thursday, August 22 at 9 a.m. Join us in Bengtson Auditorium in Russell Hall to learn about updates on campus and strategic initiatives provided by President Nook and other campus leaders. A live stream of the event will also be available.
Part of the RSP Training series, final accounting is the financial reconciliation of your sponsored project, which helps you take a "final look" at your project and all the expenses related to your project. This Zoom session will guide you through the final accounting process for sponsored projects at UNI. Please register in advance.
Registration is now open for training of UNI Works, which will replace Oracle E-Business Suites on Monday, July 1, 2024. Registration and class information are available at uniworks.uni.edu. These instructor-led classes are two hours long, with most employees needing only one session. Additional courses may be required for supervisory staff. If you are unable to attend a class or prefer to become acquainted with the system at your own pace, step-by-step job aids and demonstration videos will be available on the training website.
We need volunteers to represent UNI at the Iowa State Fair. Sign up for a four-hour shift and join our booth in the Varied Industries Building. We'll need current students, alumni, employees and friends to volunteer all throughout the fair, which runs August 8-18, 2024.
