Wellness Coaching Sessions

Find your way in wellness: sign up for Wellness Coaching. Through meeting with a Wellness Coach, you have the opportunity to explore your character strengths, focus on your health and well-being goals, and obtain resources. Wellness Coaches can provide support related to stress management, self-care, healthy sleep habits, time management, social connection, eating well, budgeting, finding balance, creating a routine, and more. Wellness Coaching is a confidential service available to all UNI students, offered by UNI Student Wellness Services. Sign-up for an in-person or Zoom session today.

Career Readiness Day 2023

Spring career readiness headshot day will be on Wednesday, February 8 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Rod Library. Have a free headshot taken and review your resume with Career Services. Whether you’re looking for a job or internship or participating in social networking opportunities like LinkedIn, a polished look can set you apart from the competition. Professional attire is recommended; no appointment is needed.

These awards are focused on rewarding university staff and faculty who continually create new value for those they work with through dedication, passion and creativity for the benefit of UNI. Now Accepting Undergraduate Academic Advising Award Nominations

Recognize an outstanding undergraduate faculty academic advisor for MWOne UNIque Undergraduate Academic Advising award. Nominations can be made by students, faculty or staff and must be submitted through the online form by Friday, February 24 at 4:30 p.m. Additional information is available at the Provost’s Resources webpage.

Next IAF Application Deadline is Thursday, February 2

Completed IAF applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 2 (if applying for travel funds, this deadline is for any trips occurring between March 1 and March 31). The Intercollegiate Academics Fund (IAF) is a yearly allocation of Student Activity Fee monies that exists to promote and support intercollegiate academic experiences for University of Northern Iowa students. Specifically, the IAF supports students in two ways: 1) through a travel fund for students who participate in intercollegiate academic competitions and presentations at professional conferences; and 2) through a research and creative activity fund which supports student research and creative activities. Reminder: Own Your Benefits: Understanding Retirement Health Care Options

Human Resource Services will host an informational session on retiree health care options in retirement. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. The hour-long session will be presented by Cory Tilson from Wellmark, Monday, February 6 at 10 a.m. in Gilchrist 009. Please register in advance.

TheatreUNI presents Radium Girls

Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night at UNI Wrestling on February 3!

Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night at UNI Wrestling will take place on Friday, February 3 as the Panthers host Cal Baptist in the McLeod Center. All UNI Faculty & Staff can get two free tickets to attend this dual. Any additional tickets above the two free can be purchased at a group rate discount. To get the free tickets, please RSVP by Monday, January 30.
