For nearly a century, the West Gym has had an iconic presence on the University of Northern Iowa campus. Originally named the Men’s Gymnasium, its presence has been constant through countless sporting events, PE classes, dances, pep rallies, concerts, commencements and more.
Parker Keckeisen was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the 2024 Big 12 Championships, the first Panther to earn the honor since UNI joined the conference in 2018.
Brittni Donaldson was a Panther, scoring points on the basketball court and crunching numbers in the classroom as a statistics and actuarial science major.
