President Mark A. Nook recently sat down with “Iowa Press” on Iowa Public Television to discuss how the University of Northern Iowa is working to meet the academic needs of Iowa.
The American Association of State Colleges and Universities named University of Northern Iowa President Mark Nook to its Board of Directors at the association’s annual conference. Nook is one of six new board members nominated to serve a three-year term, expiring in 2025.
Last August, President Nook honored three UNI staff members with Presidential Medallions to recognize how they have helped the university navigate COVID
Because of Shelley O'Connell, UNI campus was able to access rapid COVID tests early. President Nook thanked her in August with a Presidential Medallion.
Patrick Pease has played a crucial role in slowing the spread of COVID at UNI. Because of this, President Nook honored him with a Presidential Medallion.
