Career fairs are excellent opportunities to meet potential employers and showcase your expertise and background. UNI Career Services hosts two career fairs every academic year at the Maucker Union (you can find dates on the online calendar), attended by more than 150 employers.
Faculty, staff, students and alums from the University of Northern Iowa gathered at the Iowa State Capitol on Feb. 14 to celebrate the many ways UNI's programs, facilities and resources support the education of future generations, as well as industry and workforce needs across the state.
UNI accounting students are giving back to their local community by providing free income tax assistance through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Assistance preparing tax returns will be available on Wednesdays from Feb. 15 through April 5.
