Taking part in a study abroad trip as a college student is often the opportunity of a lifetime. That was certainly the case for April Vande Voort, a senior in psychology, when her capstone group from UNI partnered with the Universidad Marista in Mérida, Mexico.

NFL Super Bowl MVP and former Northern Iowa Panthers’ quarterback Kurt Warner delivered the keynote speech at the Boy Scouts' annual Governor’s Luncheon in Des Moines. The event was a homecoming of sorts – it was held in what used to be known as Veterans Memorial Auditorium, where Warner played for the Iowa Barnstormers before making his way to the NFL.
