The Gallery will present "The Many Voices of Art" Aug. 19-Oct. 5, Oct. 16-Nov. 16 and Dec. 5-19. Located in the Mary Haskell-Hansen Room of the Gallery, this UNI Permanent Art Collection exhibition was co-curated by Charles Adelman and Darrell Taylor. It features art by Bronislaw Bak, Steven Bigler, Ralph Haskell, Käthe Kollwitz and Jean Lurçat. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

The Gallery will present "Jack Balas: Against the Grain – Men, Maps, and Other Incorrections" Aug. 19-Oct. 5. The artist will present a lecture titled "Bro-sure: A Brief Look at the Art of Jack Balas" at 7 p.m., Wed., Aug. 28, in 111 KAB. An opening reception will follow. Balas is a Colorado-based artist specializing in figurative paintings and drawings in oil and watercolor involving the politics of visibility – queer visibility and male visibility in general. All events are free and open to the public.
