Human Resource Services will host a session led by Cedar Valley Hospice. Cedar Valley Hospice counselors will provide information on how to support someone who is grieving, and resources that are available in the community. This one hour session will be held Wednesday, May 17 at 2 p.m. in Gilchrist 009. Please register in advance.
Policy 5.29 P&S Policies and Procedures - Professional Development is now up for review on the Policies site. This policy must be reviewed by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023.
Faculty may be paid for their continuing non-temporary academic year appointment in 10 or 12 equal installments beginning with the August 31 or July 31 payroll respectively. Faculty members who would like to change their salary payments from 10 to 12 months, or vice versa, must complete a Pay Frequency Change Form. The completed form can be scanned and emailed to the payroll department or sent via campus mail to Business Operations - Payroll, mail code 0008, prior to the May 15, 2023, deadline. The P&S Spring Social with the President will be on Tuesday, May 2. The social will be held in the University Room located at the Maucker Union from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. President Nook will give updates on the progress of the University. Bring your colleagues and enjoy some light refreshments and snacks.
Over the next two weeks, Information Technology will be converting a number of other uses of Duo to the Universal Prompt. Many of your day-to-day Duo encounters will be included. A sampling of the applications that will be converted on the indicated day can be found on the Information Technology webpage.
Honors Research Day will be Saturday, April 22, second floor, Lang Hall. This will be a day to celebrate the work of graduating Honors students.
