Join UNI Athletics on Friday, April 21 in the UNI-Dome for the UNI Football Spring Tailgate & Spring Game. This event is free for anybody to attend. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. (please enter through the Northwest UNI-Dome doors). A free clinic for kids will take place at 6:00 p.m. The spring game will kickoff following the conclusion of the clinic. Food & drinks will be available for purchase at the concession stands. Cedar Valley Hospice counselors will provide information on how managers can support an employee who is grieving, and resources available in the community. The Iowa Regents university libraries are proud to announce the upcoming publication of 5 new free, openly-licensed textbooks developed by faculty teams from across our institutions. These textbooks, which will save Iowa college students more than $300,000 per year, were funded by the Regents Open Educational Resources (OER) Grant Program, a one-time grant supported by the CARES Act Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund. All are welcome to attend the launch party for these textbooks, scheduled for Thursday, April 20 at 4:00 p.m. Register to attend the launch event via Zoom.
UNI Police will host a V.I.D.S. training session beginning Tuesday, April 25 at 1:00 p.m., in Rm 009 in Gilchrist Hall. V.I.D.S. training is designed to help individuals increase their decision-making ability and chances of survival during an active shooter or violent incident.
