African Union is back and better than ever. For the first time in 3 years, the student-led org for African students will be bringing back their age-old 'Africa Night' with free food, music and entertainment to last the whole night. Join them on Saturday, April 8 for a dinner of authentic African cuisine in Threehouse Collaborative Ministries from 5-7 p.m. Then spend the evening in the Maucker Union ballrooms from 7:30-11 p.m. dancing, singing and hearing about African's Union history, legacy and future on campus.
Undergraduates who have done research using the Rod Library materials for a UNI research project and are endorsed by a UNI faculty member or mentor can apply to be awarded the Mary Ann Bolton Undergraduate Research Award which recognizes and celebrates students who have completed undergraduate research. Three winners will be chosen, first place gets $1,200, and the runners-up will each receive $800. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 14, 2023.
