Be a Super Sleeper!

Student Wellness Services is reminding everyone to sleep 7-9 hours per night for heroic benefits. Regular sleep leads to better grades, memory focus and productivity. In addition, sleep can lower stress, boost mood and improve your mental well-being. You can be a super sleeper by limiting caffeine and alcohol, disconnecting from technology before bed and practicing a regular bedtime routine. 

Final Accounting - RSP Training Series - Friday, April 5 | 2-3 pm

Part of the RSP Training series, final accounting is the financial reconciliation of your sponsored project, which helps you take a "final look" at your project and all the expenses related to your project. This Zoom session will guide you through the final accounting process for sponsored projects at UNI. Please register in advance

Next IAF Application Deadline is Thursday, April 4th

Completed IAF applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 (this deadline is for research applications or any trips occurring between May 1-May 31). The Intercollegiate Academics Fund (IAF) is a yearly allocation of Student Activity Fee monies that exists to promote and support intercollegiate academic experiences for University of Northern Iowa students. Financial Wellness: Smart Money Habits

Human Resource Services will host an informational session on managing your money. Being financially responsible involves control, planning and having a strategy in place to reach your financial goals. Learn how to establish reachable goals and develop new spending and saving habits that can help you increase your income and decrease spending. See tips on organization and record-keeping and regain control of your money to create stability in your financial future. This session will be presented by Regions on Friday, April 5 at 11 a.m., via Zoom. Please register in advance.

My Well-being: Supporting Someone Who is Grieving

Human Resource Services will host a session led by Cedar Valley Hospice. Cedar Valley Hospice counselors will provide information on how to support someone who is grieving, and resources available in the community. This session will be held on Wednesday, April 3 at 10 a.m. in the State College Room in Maucker Union. Please register in advance.
